I can't say I think the inventor of the words swag and yolo are intelligent... 😂 But I see where you're coming from

You don't get out much, do you? (Laughs behind your back.) My dear! The way young people speak is but a foul piece of noise. It has been this way for YEARS!There are too few of the words that even are attempted to sound legit! English IS my language. The youths have destroyed any usability of the words we have known.
No I am not a teacher.
But there are no more words left in our language that haven't been shredded and ripped apart.

@DearGreenPlace: agreed. but i'm not talking about slang language - which is primitive and derivative.

@NobodyFrvr: So what are you talking about?
NobodyFrvr · 31-35, M
I'm talking about creating new words all together. unrelated to their mother tongue. non-derivative.
room101 · 51-55, M
Take that idea to its natural conclusion and nobody will know what the hell everybody else is talking about. Oh wait................that explains sooooo much.
If in doubt......covfefe!

Language evolves
NobodyFrvr · 31-35, M
@Picklebobble2: yes, but a kid creating new words void of his mother tongue or completely new language - is a creation.

Thanks, I'll take that as A compliment. When I was A teen a friend and I had many made up words that we used just between us. It was fun at the time.
