Bad is a meaningless word,
As far as slurs go white trash isn't in the same ballpark as nigger. The historical context doesn't support the equivalence. Slurs are only relevant based on historical context.
That being said you can't control what other people do, only yourself. If you find slurs offensive then don't use them. That simple.
I will say it's hypocritical to get offended by Slurs while freely using them. But even that's irrelevant to me honestly.

@TwilitSona: yes nigger does have historical context but its more how nigger is used. but both terms are based on race and both have very similar meanings

The context includes the usage and how it's changed over time. If the context was actually less important than the casual usage then no one would get upset about it being used.

@TwilitSona: they both refer to lazy lower class people and it is a word with a double standard as we see it all over rap music and fine when one race does it. but when a non black person does it is widely demonized no matter what context it was used it. People will get offended over anything these days so its like walking on egg shells around some people.

It's not like it's a word that you need to use. Once again who cares what rappers are doing? You're your own person, so no it's not walking on eggshells. Either you use slurs or you don't. If you use them you deal with whatever consequences that are the outcome. The whole argument that someone else does it so why can't I, is how five year olds decide to roll in mud and eat bugs.

@TwilitSona: I am just pointing out a double standard based on ones colour of there skin. I am not saying we do it to be cool I just think we should not have double standards based on race. and get so offended and butt hurt over the use of one word . While using white trash for example to put down white people

@LvChris: Those people are just dicks and there always will be dicks. The word is used in some context to do tha sure but for some it just means friend. Are they both not racial charged words? and yes the black community did empower themselves with it but it is still a double standard. If you have a different standard for another person based solely on there skin colour that is rather racist.

@LvChris: I am sure some people are insulted by white trash and if a term offended only a handful it would still be a double standard. What the root thing I am getting at was any racist thing against white people is though of a joke while anything toward any other group s taken serious and I could of picked a better term like cracker.
