What's the most venomous critter you've been bitten/stung by?

Crikey. Can you describe the pain it caused?

@NigelDoes: Crushing, burning, stabbing, tearing. Like someone taking red-hot knives or swords and sliding them into the area I was stung, inner right ankle, gradually extending outward.

Jesus. May I ask what part of the world you were in when this happened?

@NigelDoes: Hawaii, hah. Has made me none-too-eager to ever go back there again. Right ankle feels weird even just thinking about it.

I bet Did anything relieve the pain? Does vinegar neutralize that type of venom?

@NigelDoes: Yeah, vinegar was the only thing that worked. But didn't figure that out until 2 1/2 hours or so after the sting.

Aye aye aye. Not sure I'll be swimming in Hawaii if I ever go back. :-)
