Is there anyone out there who often prefers not to defend themselves when attacked ?

I mean verbally. It could be from an awareness that one is over-sensitive, a strong dislike of hostility, a determination not to descend to that level, or what some would call cowardice - although I'd defend someone I loved being attacked.

I think it depends on who it is verbally attacking me. I feel like some arguments just aren't worth it and some people just aren't worth the words🙈 I also just prefer not to be confrontational or cause unnecessary drama.
