What made you 'wise'?

being a know it all who was arrogant ,listened to know one ,,so I had to learn everything the hard way ,
well loose everything 3 xs ,2 divorces ,loose your kids ,jobs and homes
you finally get its not the world ,you are the problem ,
Finding out Dad was not so dumb after all ,and finally listening to some sound advice ,
Starting over ,taking a less arrogant approach ,then people don't mind helping you ,but as long as you know it all and no one can tell you anything ,
people love to watch you fall and self destruct ,
I had people actually set me up to fail ,just to show me I am not always a one man show ,that I could not do it all ,I needed the people who worked with me to be successful ,,Hard lesson ,but one I needed
Back surgery will give you time to reflect as well
But it all really comes down to time and experience ,
Stick with anything long enough you gain experience ,then confidence and skill
then temper it with some old fashion humility ,with lots of life lessons from failures ,you are bond to gain some wisdom
But the easiest way ,is take advice from those who have already proven themselves ,,and its obvious ,they are wise
and watch ,,listen and let them teach you something

Sticking a bobby pin in an electrical socket when I was 5. I've been amazing ever since that happened.
