Looks quite likely.
His star has been on the rise for a number of years. To his credit he has taken his time and hasn't fallen foul of many of the more....questionable senior members all vying for the top job.
He's either really smart in letting them think he's daft, which is often the impression he gives ! Or he really is daft ! Then we're all in trouble !!

If he says he isn't running then you wait and see if people start to gravitate toward you !
Seeing you as the better option compared to whoever else is in the running !
