@Jinxey: Not if you don't let yourself. As much as genetics decide, your will gets the bigger say on how you are in life. It's up to you who you'll be, not your parents, or anyone else.

not if they keep bringing me down...I know I shouldnt care about what they say or feel about me, but my family uses me as an example for any mistakes that happens. in scared to be myself or be who I am...and I can't just leave

@Jinxey: Why do you let them bring you down? The people who blame you for everything. Who make you scared to be yourself. They're honestly the last people you should let bring you down. Why? These are people who use you for their own faults. People who make you sad for their problems and what's more? They don't even know you. You said it yourself you can't be who you are around them. This tells me that every single problem in your family is on them. Why feel bad about that? Don't beat yourself up over someone else's fight. Their negativity can't be about you. They don't know you, so it has to be about them, and you're just their outlet. It's okay to struggle with being mistreated, but don't think that means there's anything wrong with you. As long as you don't join them, I think you should have a lot to be happy about. Knowing you're someone you can love would already make you better than them. So again, why can people like that bring you down?

all I want is too make them proud of me and be happy...😢 this is why I always seclude myself from anyone and why I'm alone all the time...

@Jinxey: Why do you want that? Happiness for them sure, but being proud of you? Aren't you already proud of yourself for not being awful like that? You should be if you aren't.

helping people is what I do...if I can't help anyone I feel bad...I love making people smile and feel good...

@Jinxey: You can't please everyone Jinxy. Especially if you can't please yourself. You can only love other people as much as you love yourself. The best way to help other people feel good is to first learn that for yourself. So try to not feel bad about not being enough for some people. That's a natural part of life we all deal with. What's important is being enough for yourself and then giving that love to other people. If they appreciate it or not doesn't matter, because you've already giving yourself all you need. So there's nothing left to do but give to others.
