Does the US have a culture?
I've been wondering this a lot recently. I've seen tons of jokes about how the US doesn't have its own culture, would you say it's true or not? I'd love some examples. 馃

Mostly it's an amalgam of the many groups of people who live here, that "melting pot". But the things I think of as "typically American" are things like hot dogs, hamburgers, fried foods and barbecue, baseball, basketball and American football. And even though it's been coopted by most of the world, U.S. music genres: jazz, blues, soul, R&B, hip-hop/rap, country and rock. It may [b]be[/b] performed worldwide, but it was [i]born[/i] right here.
