A "classical liberal" is the equivalent to a muh free markets republican. Did you mean "classic" liberal like typical US liberal?

The modern left seems to be a long way from classical liberals as well. So I wouldn't even worry about it. Good luck.

I dont know. It does certainly make it difficult but not impossible. My lunatic sister has been with a man a very long time who is hugely conservative. Then again he is her object of use and he goes in awe on her. So I suppose its a matter of all relationships are different.
Possibly more likely to work if she's conservative and he's liberal than the other way around. Think James Carville and Mary Matalin.
