this is in no way to denigrate what you feel
but imagine

that to some people,, MANY people the entire idea of a deity
much less a human incarnation of a god just seems
preposterous! this is not an insult,, it is just the way many feel.
many feel about any such prophet the way they feel about santa claus or the easter bunny.
WORSE some of us ( me,, others) have studied and learned so much about belief in general and the various scriptures in particular, the it no longer "works" for us

I get scared by a movie? i don't decide that it is real..
the feelings are real the inspiration may not be.

consider as well all the schism in the "people of the book" (Jews, Christians, Muslims.). squabbling and warring over tiny details.

so sorry if this post offends,, but
the unbelievers are out numbered and often oppressed. so they NEED to make jokes about it
( consider this very post,, they cant make ONE joke,, but a believer has to step in.
