If you're young but people assume you look younger, do you take offense?

I came home from service ,bought all my food ,baby diapers ,beer and Cigarettes at the local Winn Dixie store ,So I spent at one time 120 dollars a month just for diapers ,we ate well ,steak and Lobster once a week ,so they got a lot of money from me ,
But one day my Mom asked me to run into to town with her and I left my wallet ,
She is getting he hair done so I run to the Dixie store for some smokes ,
They card me ,and I have no ID ,but they have known me since I was a kids so I ask for the manager ,,but he won't sell them to me either and even makes a comment like come back in a few years when you are old enough Kid ,,
I was fuming ,,but I make Mom go with me ,when we get there a lady who knew me had opened a register ,and she goes on how nice it is to see me and how was service ,,but I'm still mad ,
She calls the manager and when she tells him who I am he goes to apologizing and telling me how sorry he was ,when i tell him I plan to take my business elsewhere ,He had the Butcher cut me some ribeye"s on him ,and that was not my last time being carded made me mad .
I am told I look about 10-15 yrs younger then I am ,but now I take it as a compliment
