I am still capable but I do endure some pain
but since they say the only way to fix me is a new spine
I'll just be grateful I can still walk ,get to the bathroom on my own .
and that when I am needed I can still work from time to time
nothing makes me feel better then to be needed and still feel useful when you are disabled
I tell my kids who take care of the elderly
Never take away their dignity ,when you are in poor health sometimes thats all you have left

@rckt148: I can only imagine how frustrated and useless someone in that position would feel.. I agree to allow people their dignity, there's nothing worse that making someone out to be any different than an abled person
