What would you do if a stray dog becomes your friend and wants to stay in your house?

Had a neighbor who had a large dog walk into his house and lie down. The dog loved the attention & he ended up being theirs for many years (the dog and the neighbor have both passed away since).

I would keep him!!

Depends how it got on with my current dogs. But at the very least I'd make sure it got a home somewhere.

Take it to a vet, clean em up and keep it

I would have to clear things with my dog first, but I bet I would let the dog hang out until better arrangements could be made.

Depends on if he can come up with the rent money.

If he or she isn't chipped, I'd put an advert up and if nobody claimed him or her, I'd keep them.

I'm allergic to furry animals so I can't befriend strays. :(

I already have a dog. He'll have to go elsewhere.
