What are the burdens of being the youngest?

RatherBeMe Best Comment
During childhood...
- regularly brushed aside
- not taken seriously
- easily overpowered or over ruled by older siblings
- teased, bossed around, and sometimes physically a punching bag for frustrated older siblings
- potentially have parents that are burnt out with parenting by the time you come around

In adulthood...
- all the baggage that follows you from the stuff listed above
- some siblings STILL do not take you seriously even when you become a fully functioning adult
- always the student never the master in the presence of family (some older siblings feel more experienced and wiser and always have that age gap to use as leverage)
- the feeling of being 6 again in the presence of family.... even when you are 40 years old
- hearing "oh, you're the baby of the family" until the day you die

-Having the match up to or exceed all of your siblings
-Being the last allowed to do anything
-Uh I could probably think of more given time... I absolutely hate being the youngest

@ForeverOnMyGuard: Unfortunately, this is true as well. We experience the same damn things

Burden? No, I thoroughly enjoyed being spoiled by everyone.

@ExperienceProjectUser: Especially when you came along 8 years after the next youngest. You're like a....IDK, they just adore you.

@katielass: Omg. You really were THE baby 😆😆

idk but they're much less than those of being the eldest lol

@sillygirlgonecrazy: your words striked me tho. Good answer 😇
@sillygirlgonecrazy: I think every place in the birth order has it's pro's and con's. Being the youngest certainly wasn't all negative and I'm fully certain that the eldest have it rough in their unique ways. I think it's an apples and oranges kind of thing really.
haha true

You have to ask the 4 questions at Passover (if you’re capable).

@Dragon56: Teeheehee, yeah

Didn't realize that particular age set was a burden.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
I guess I was too busy to living to make that distinction.
ThinkQuick · 31-35, F
@LadyBronte: Good for you then 😉
