When I clang my stainless steel pans around putting them away...they have a lifetime guarantee.

@cherokeepatti: aaah that is great :)
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@popmol: had em for 40 years now, a lot of meals cooked with them.

@cherokeepatti: wow those are some sturdy pans!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@popmol: I paid $350 for them plus a set of flatware and electric skillet...they let me pay it off interest free $5 per month but I paid off early because I needed them. By that time others of the same quality were selling for $1200 because the price of steel had sky-rocketed, so they lost money and went bankrupt.

wow! but thats super pricy
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@popmol: Yeah for back then $350 was a lot of money, they let me pay it out $5 a month, no interest....they lost money cause the steel cost a lot more than what I paid.

aah i'm sorry for thre poor company
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@popmol: Yeah, I wouldn't have been able to have bought them for cash at the time I signed the contract or paid for them later when the price increased.

aah well its nice you still have them! i would love to have such pans to cook in what we have ios cheap pans who break after a year

I'm glad I bought them when they were made in the USA...I don't really trust metal pans from China since they recycle everything and sometimes contaminate it with other metals. I also have two cast-iron skillets made in the USA.

@cherokeepatti: yeah!! true! i should get some because i love cooking!
