My critical reading teacher says I lack trying hard but I'm doing my best. Im going to be in so much trouble with financial aid!

I do my best but the material is just hard. I did ask questions in all but I still fail. In my last test I got 27 out of 100. In parts of my test my teacher said I lack explaining details. I even did some extra credit to raise up my grade but I STILL have a failing grade. I have a 52.97% in my class and I doubt I'm going to pass it. I ducked up my tests and I'm just done. I'm a huge disappointment to myself and my dad and stepmom are going to be very pissesd off. They are very strict and blunt about education. They want me to do my best. In my other class I got a 79.45% in my class. I gotta study for finals. My critical reading class I doubt that I will pass. Why am I so stupid?! I'm done.

There are several types of learners: People that learn by seeing or reading, those that learn by doing, and the rest learn from hearing. You could record your classes so you can listen to it again. You could read your textbook and write it down. Be creative! Learning should be fun for you! Not trying to be rude, just wondering, are you dyslexic by chance? Have you ever been checked? Or for another learning disability. Sometimes there are things you can do that will help you with your education from that aspect as well.

You're not stupid, hell I don't even know what the hell critical reading is. It sounds like some made up money grab to me.
@Isteru: well all I know is that my parents are going to be very angry with me. I'm such a loser
