Someone told me I'm not a 90s child because I dont remember the early 90s. Is they right?

I was born on Novemebr 1, 1989 at 10:39am. Sure I dont remember 1990-1995 but I do remember most games, tv shows, clothes and whatever. Someone said "90s kids are from 1984-1996. I'm like so? I still am one. Then she said if you dotn remember the early 90s then you aren't a true 90s kid. I gave her a look. She was like, "It's the truth for my opinion. You were 10 in 1999 and you turned into a teen in 2002 so you're also a 2000s child. Truth hurts but oh well. I was born in 1985 do remember more than you. I'm a true 90s kid.
