Dad had a hundred head of whiteface steers when I was sixteen. I did the haying and herded them around the fields with a '68 blue Chevy 1/4 ton pickup. Got the highest price for feeder cattle in Minnesota in'79. They were butter balls. Lots of other stuff you have to contend with with cows. Had to run a few on foot until they ga
ve up. I was pretty ripped by that fall. Put me through college.
