My boyfriend hit me for being late to hang out!

I arrived at 5:15 instead of 5. I told him on a text that the bus was late and we're suppose to meet up for dinner. He got angry, took me behind a dumpster and slapped me across the face and almost strangled me because he thought I was seeing another man. I just ran off and left. Im on the bus now

This guy needs to be arrested. Don't be afraid to press charges and DON'T EVER forgive him or believe that he is sorry and will never do it again. Get away from him FOREVER. No woman deserves any physical abuse from a guy.

you really, really need to call the authorities - and if necessary, find a friend to stay with that your boyfriend doesn't know about. He's using fear, intimidation, and physical abuse to try to control you - and threatening to kill you is beyond dangerous. Just the fact he hit you is bad enough - threatening to kill you because you said you're calling the cops is incredibly serious - get it reported ASAP so it's on the record, then get somewhere safe - he needs help in a way you can't provide, and escalating to the level it has, the first level priority here is your safety - to hell with him and his threats.
