@cherokeepatti: I think it's not so much a matter of taking life for granted. Both my parents have been dead for many years, but in my heart and mind, dad is 98 and mom is 97. I wish them both happy birthday and happy Mother's/Father's Day every year.
I see the question as a math question. I'm 73 now....if I don't die before then, I will be 98 in 25 years.
