My sister criticized my article. Do you think she is being paranoid?

I was writing an article and I had my sister take a look at it. She was like, "What is all this? Proper Manners?" I asked her what was wrong with it. She was like, "I'm going to be brutal with you, I just stopped reading after t be first paragraph. Your article isn't intresting or funny. Nobody is going to read this mess. You can do a hell a lot better than this!" I was like" Excuse me? I don't like how you're criticizing me about my work. I happen to ne very positive about this." I told her, "Nobody is going to read this? It makes no sence. You gotta learn to take criticism! Stop living in a fantasy! There are critical people everywhere and you know that. You just dont wanna hear the truth." That is ever so harsh. I said, "Thst was every so harsh. I am a very good writer!"
Then she said, "Then prove it!" She crumpled my paper and slammed it in my hand. Thst wasn't every so nice. People need to be nice and kind and use proper manners. That's nt what I wanted to hear. Is my sister being paranoid. Criticizing people is mean.

criticizing isn't bad per se. it's how you do it, or how you use your words to demean or uplift others. constructive criticism is always good. so i would say that your sister was wrong in using harsh words to give her thoughts on what you wrote. she can give you better feedback in order to improve yourself without being that mean.
