It feels like a culture of violence that just keeps getting worse and worse aided by social media. Innocent people losing their lives left and right simply from being at the wrong place at the wrong time (even though that place is your school, work, residence, etc., where you should be able to consider yourself safe!). Just yesterday a poor freshman boy was stabbed to death and 4 others injured (in the same building on campus my nephew lives in). Incidents of guns being brought on campuses and sexual assaults at elementary schools. Stuff like that. It feels like nowhere and no one is immune these days and It's disheartening to me. @Bean17: it is disheartening especially for young people realising this is Infact reality, the world we are living in & the people we are surrounded by.
