why do people seem to like people that are not so nice or too nice?

Im nice, kind, polite and agree with my friends and whatever or traspass to please people but people seen to avoid me but my sister is a sweetheart too but she is straightfoward, tells it like it is and says her own opinion. She disagrees with something she doesnt agree with and she has a lot of friends.
Some of my friends says she rather hang with my sister than me because I'm too nice and passive and boring.

You can disagree, have your own interests and still be a "nice" person. I think you may think being passive or submissive is synonymous with being nice. It really isn't. But if this is who you are at your core, sounds like you may need to find friends who will accept you for you, and not compare yourself to others.

@MissNiceGirl: Then you may have to make sure people understand, this is who you are, and you have the right to be you. Like I said, don't compare yourself to others. If someone wants you to be more like your sister---or anyone else, perhaps they're not really your friends.
