What would you do if a female pet of yours gets pregnant by a stray?

Take the stray home. And. . . what else is there to do. I mean, she would have to have an operation to give birth to the pups because she's too small for a natural birth. Then I would be sweet-talking everyone I trust to adopt one of the puppies.
