Because public and high schools isn't designed to teach a child, but to condition their mind so they conform to social standards and agree with popular opinions while not having the ability to do proper research into things. I know, I am one of "THOSE," but it is true, in my opinion anyways. I have learned far more studying on my own than I ever did in school. You might think my English is god awful right now but you should have been it when I was in high school. It was far worse than it is now, and my vocabulary was barely more complex than a caveman's. Spelling, Fuck 6 years ago I could not even spell vocabulary, even with auto correct.
