Who is also obsessed with themselves ?

My reflection makes me feel delight.
Splendid from head to toe, I am such a pulchritudinous sight.
I am no neuroscientist but I know I exude strength and intelligence.
I adore my mind and appreciate the way it operates.
This is self-adoration, not overconfidence.

I am so lucky to get to be me; continuously nonstop I always am me.
Truly blessed to get to be with the one
I find comfort in the most day-and-night.
The planet must have rejoiced the day my head passed out of my mother’s birth canal.
Through the dilated cervix with the help of strong contractions actively pushing my darling self out, what a sense of morale.
Passed on DNA and the protection of my ancestors
All so I could be here.
I may adore myself but do not be mistaken I am no Narcissus.

Well then, that's the first time in an exceptional time span that I had to look up a word, pulchritudinous huh, never heard that one before.

@th3r0n: it's nice to learn something new . 😄
What is your opinion on the poem ps thanks for reading .

@Pureblossom: well, the quality of the writing is far above professional, it has a good flow, and it's interesting to read, but it's also about as self promoting as a gangsta rap song :-p

you submit to journals online?

zines?

such?
you should.

"passed out of my mother's birth canal" would have been gold during my publishing years.
