Yes, avoid it by NOT accepting loans. People think just because they are offered loans that they must accept. Its an OFFER, not a mandate.

@Nonexistent: initially i did not receive FA so i paid out of pocket for part time at community college. Eventually FA kicked in so i was able to go full time. Graduated comm college got academic scholarship, university transfer student scholarship, another scholarship from the uni and about 3 grants. And yes i do have a job.

@iamnikki: no one will give me grants because myparents make to much. I tried scholarships but I gave up.

@Nonexistent: how old are you? I ask because at 24, you no longer need parental info. So you'll be able to get them
