As if we are going to make it

In the eye of the storm, it's calm,
While we are surrounded by a strong tropical cyclone.
We evade the winds of hurricane force and act as though our correlation is sublime.
Although a paradisiacal partnership is hard to counterfeit,
We are hoping all will be well in good time.

Since neither one of us wants to live this correlation and disappear,
Let’s plan our future as if we’ve got one together.
And pretend the weight of our correlation is as light as a feather,
When really it’s hefty and our suppressor.

The weight has ruined me,
I can no longer properly dance to the rhyme of romance,
But we want to learn again together.
