No, science doesn't disprove religion and religion doesn't rule out science. For all scientists know, a higher being could have started the Big Bang and created the universe. Science has proven religion wrong in a few ways, but honestly it's not that big of a deal. It's stuff like, "the Earth was created over millions of years" and "dinosaurs", but the bible kind of explains that in Genesis. God created the world in 7 days, but who knows if they mean 24 hour days or "God-days" which are a few million years each? Time is a concept created by man
