What is the purpose of having friends on sw?

So far I dont see why people can be added

To the core of it there's no real purpose of "adding" someone here other than displaying them as your friends on your profile. I mean adding someone as a friend here has no real privileges..you're correct actually

The only advantage of adding users here is that you can have a tailor made newsfeed consisting of only their posts. That's it 😂

@QueenOfQuirk: Nah, they changed it.. even if you go to your friends list you'll see where it says that friends may see your posts more often.. or something along those lines.
Which I found this to be true.

Oh yes I just checked it, they're probably making the algorithms like Facebook now and soon we might see the kind of posts we heart more often
