She was the right choice but has changed over the last few years.

@hminuk: people do change as they grow..I was 13 when I met my first husband, we married at 19, I was with him 15 years but he couldn't deal with me as I got older and found i had my own opinions and my own voice..

I won't leave her for all the money in the world. We are together 24hrs all through the year. We even work together. I just like her to be more active in life and have fun like the old days.

@hminuk: can't you find new things you can enjoy together..some of us do get more tired and not as adventurous as our younger selves that's natural.

@Primnproper: I have suggested loads of things but all she likes to do is read books and watch TV when we are at home.

@hminuk: well then I suggest you sit her down and tell her you need some input and help from her to suggest things you can do together because you feel your stuck in a bit of a rut..let her know how you fee..

@Primnproper: She knows how I feel and she knows I am not going anywhere.

@hminuk: maybe thats the problem she's that sure of you she knows she doesn't have to make an effort or meet you half way and I'm not suggesting you threatening to leave it anything but you need to find a way to tell her that it's not enough you need more from her..

After 40 years of being together, knowing each other so well that sometimes we finish each others sentence. I just have to wait and hope she gets tired of too many books and TV. :O)
