I don't get all that many messages, and the ones I get are usually decent. So I will answer those.
I don't answer the random out of the blue hi from someone I never met before or the obvious pervy ones.

No, someone who just says hello unless I have interacted with them before in a post or something, I won't answer at all.

Yeah, and if it is someone saying "hey", I will say "hey" back. Then they ask "how are you?" and I say "FINE."

Usually a first message - yeah. If the next one is also one word or similar, I'm out.

Yes, then if the person starts asking for pictures, I block them.
