Would you burn your academic qualifications and certificates for $50 million?

I mean why not? I have the knowledge + $50 million lol

There are people who have the knowledge without ever having possessed the certificates. But the certificates are considered proof of the work and achievement. I'd love to have the $50 million, but I'd hate to relinquish that documented proof of being an "educated" person. 😅
