Is this the only Universe?

I doubt it.

Black holes are now seen by many as incubators for alternate universes, and the reason for the univese itself is for the prolific manufacture of black holes. If and when our universe does 'disappear' it will be only because this phase of the experiments has been superseded by even better, more evolved versions

This is dependant on your definition. The most common definition of universe is "the totality of known and unknown matter, energy, space, and time"

There is only one, total of known and unknown. There is no more.
This definition doesn't allow for anything else.

If you are using a different definition then anything is possible.

I like the fact that we know so little about the possibilities, so much to learn and discover.
