Do you think there's a difference between hiding things and being private?

Being a private person doesn't necessarily mean hiding. Some just like to keep certain elements of their lives private. Significant others should respect that.

Being private is one thing, but communication is one of the key elements to a successful relationship and if you're not sharing something with your significant other that they want to know about then you're not exactly communicating.
