@bhatjc: I think my biggest age gap was 17 years. I'm not sure what age difference would be "too much" for me to be comfortable with, but I do think at some point it would feel too big to me.

@Lakesidepoet: That sounds cool. How old where you when you had that 17 year age gap. I was 19 and the lady i was seeing was in her 30s. But you don't want to be a grave digger,Or have a big age gap

@bhatjc: Yes, mine was similar and I don't think I'd do it again with someone so much younger, to be honest. I can't say for sure, but in general, I connect much more with those who are around my age or older. I am still good friends with him, though. :-)

He was a very lucky man getting a chance with you. The memories you two must have. And i agree with you. Better to date a person as close to your age as possible.

@bhatjc: I don't mind age gaps at all, it's just that I want to be the younger person. In other words, if the man in 17 years older than I am, that's fine, but me being 17 years older than my man...I didn't prefer that (for myself). It doesn't bother me for others, as long as both people are adults, I just found it wasn't my own preference.

@xal132: I think that makes sense. Older men are typically more mature and settled. That is attractive to many women....me included. That's why I don't prefer age gaps with the man being significantly younger than I am.

I also don't prefer young boys...☺
