@radhs560: I guess after 18 years of age you are allowed to marry. no one can force you the decision. It's your fundamental right whom to marry. It is allowed by Constitution of India.

the person getting married soon is in your generation... she was crying when she told me she will marry but doesn't want to, and that her family doesn't understand what she is going through. So I told her to stand her ground and say ''no''. But she told me, it's ok, I will get married anyway, then divorce, then they will understand that I didn't want to.

@radhs560: I know there are some. I am not blind to them. mainly families from haryana like gurjars and jat, they want to marry their daughters in their own caste. their girls suffer worst.
