If the price was right I might, if I had other color choices, no.

Good point.

@Nimbus: Yellow wouldn't be the worst color, it might help prevent an accident being so bright...and it's cooler than the dark colors. I hope to never have another black car ever again, in Oklahoma summers they are like a furnace on wheels, even with a/c in the smaller vehicles they are hot.

@cherokeepatti: Yep, ultimately it's down to personal taste.

@Nimbus: I cooked an egg in the back of my dark red car one afternoon at work, actually more like dehydrated it and it melted the plastic wrap....it was an experiment after going home for lunch and thinking it was hot enough to cook an egg in that car (took a few miles driving to get the a/c to cool down the car to tolerable and my apartment was only about 7 blocks from work).

@Nimbus: One time I drove to the pharmacy after work to pick up my daughter's medicine and the pharmacist saw how red my face was and asked if I was all right and needed water or to sit down. Another time a lady at the tag agency brought me a glass of water and had me drink it because she was concerned....I don't work or drive in the heat very well.

@Nimbus: Nah, my adrenal hormones were out of whack...I'm hoping I'm able to tolerate the heat better this summer...last summer was the worst in my life, would go out at 8 to 9 a.m. in the hot months and do a little yard work outside and have to come back in and take a shower to cool down and would be red-faced and sweating for over an hour after that.
