Have you been through any earthquakes?

That's the one I was talking about!

I was on the third floor of a building in DC (where I work) and the floor started swaying. I had never been through something like that before. We all got out of our cubicles and looked at each other incredulously. We were like, is that an earthquake? Then it stopped. We did not know what to do but thought the best thing to do would be to walk outside like it was a fire drill. The whole city did, too! We stood outside for a long time. They eventually let us back in.
