what is your interpretation of...

War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength

PS: i still detest big brother's totalitarian regime as i stand for Individuality

i also suspect that the world is slowly becoming totalitarian...as the left wing wants to promote crab mentality and pull down anyone higher than them to their EQUAL level as well as the spies everywhere looking at our social medias and the fact that people want Equality over Equity...
You may stand for individuality, but you are a enmeshed in society. You are a single cell in an organism.called society. In an organism, when a cell decides to go its own way, it is called cancer. The organism's defense mechanism deletes the rogue cell in most cases. Some survive, and can end up growing and killing the organism that supports it.

Trump and his fellow conservatives and libertarians are cancers trying to kill the host organism. We will see the damage they will wreak on the host they depend on for their own existence. They are a very real threat to the survival and health of our society.

1. Common threats can create unity.
2. Non dependence takes work.
3. Fake stupid has the upper hand.

#1 is something i understand from what you said
#2...hmm so its like too much freedom can cage someone into their fantasies?
#3 hmm so when the truth is ignored no one questions and go "divided we stand united we fall"?

Point is that the sentences are so fragmented they can be assumed to mean so many things. Yet they actually say nothing in specific. Doubt makes conviction. Quiet speaks volumes. Inaction is slippage.

Plain language contradictions. That's what they are. Pure irony.

I struggle with how to prevent broad personal liberties descending into anarchy where the most vicious have the power.

I definitely hear what you're saying and agree with your frustrations. I just don't have a good and viable answer.
I get what you are saying but I think you missed part of the point of the book. Because western society proves that you can live under those conditions with your individuality intact.

Who cares. The trick is to start treading your own path deep enough that everything forms around what you want.
The quote makes no sense to me at all.
The same applies to the editorial.
But other than that, I totally get it.
