Why are so many illegal immigrants trying to get into the US ?

I would do the same thing if I was born in a poor country to a poor family and I wasn't so frickin lazy. I'd probably be satisfied cutting sugar cane and getting paid with Aguardiente, otherwise.

Well, mexico and south American countries all have the same resources we have but they offer NO hand up to their citizens. And why should they, we've been taking care of their people for decades. Their governments should be shamed into doing the right thing.
