Does whether a person have a real picture as their avi or their age range displayed make you less likely to engage in a personal conversation w/ them?

I really don't get why people hide which age category they fall in........that seems super shady.

Nothing shady about it, in my case. I'm 57, and have plenty of friends here who know it. But it's less of a target for someone trolling who doesn't think older people should be online.
