Why would some people use their other accounts to comment on their own posts and chat as if those are differnet people?

they like games? i like to create characters and make them interact with each other. replacing characters with actual accounts seems like a pain in the ass though. you'd have to log in and out all the time. i think a person who did that would be very fond of creating scenarios and orchestrating games
