Each true evil is a form of destruction and each goodness is creation.

Corrupt immoral people will almost certainly be unhappy as they have nothing real, their empire is one ticking time bomb waiting to destroy all in its way.

Good people are almost always happy because what they've built is real, they contribute to more than just their own desires, the World benefits from them no matter how insignificant. When they die they live on in what they've brought this is Heaven.

Those who have left only misery will leave a blackhole metaphorically speaking, this is Hell.
