Why do people say black girls look stupid with blond hair but not white girls?

I have two best friends who are both white and one has beach blond hair. I wanna buy a blond wig but my friends think I'm crazy and black women look ridiculous unless they have light skin. One said I have very dark skin (I'm black) and darker hair like jet black looks better on me and my natural afro looks cuter.

I guess since its not typically seen. I personally seen plenty of black girls look good with blonde hair though. If you want it, go for it
