How to ask for a raise

I once worked at a restaurant for 6 months and they never wanted me to leave but I had to focus on school. Now that I dont have to worry about school as much, i was thinking of working there again, full time and experienced. I would get paid 8 an hour but I dont want to return to that wage because I could get that somewhere else. The interview is tomorrow and the guy is a new manager so he has only heard good things about me. I am wondering how I can bring up the possibility of getting paid 8.50 at least

Tell him you have new commitments and need to earn just a bit more wages & you feel the experience you can bring makes you worth it.

Hmm it may be a risk but, asking at end of interview/ question time is ideal. On another note good luck with interview!

Tch! Some people have NO contentment these days. people work £4! (ok enough with the illegals) but some people work £7.20 an hour!
