Guys: would you leave a job field just because there's a lot of females in it

This guy in my class said if there's a lot of girls in graphic design like their is in our class he was going to leave the field because he can't stand it.

For some reason he thinks the girls are acting like they live in a fairytale. If he means we work hard, learn, and come to class prepared doesn't sound that bad.

Guess he's intimidated

@Jackaloftheazuresand: why no? You would never have posters, book covers, buisnes cards, typography, or websites without graphic design.

Only true for typography. As for the rest, I prefer practicality to aesthetic, and yes, I know it is more practical to use aesthetic, but if everyone had my view then we would not need it.
