Nixon was a good president that didn't fail his friends, no matter how unimportant they were, and accepted responsibility for the covering up of what they did as if he had told them to do it. That's a stand up guy.

You're kidding right? Or you just drank a barrel load of KoolAid.
Circumvented the Constitution.

I could go on in a list of 30-40

He was an insular, incredibly introverted man who chose politics as a career of all things. He hated people he didn't know, so that was one weird career choice, he didn't like meeting new people.

Yet, he set in motion the end of the war in Vietnam, after massacring tens of thousands, he opened up a better relationship with both Russia and with China, and I think if I had met him in real life, I would really have liked him. But he was one totally psychologically screwed up, bitter, defensive, small minded character.

He had the sex appeal of cardboard, but he was an anti-intellectual intellect. He was an establishment shunning wannabe elite, and the elite had no intention of ever inviting him in.

I WISH I could have been there when Kissinger met with him. Dang!!!!

But stand up guy? Haaaaaaaaaa
