Do you support Israel?

I know this is a heated topic for many. I have just been watching some history videos about the creation of Israel and the current issues.

Was Palestine ever a real Arab Nation? Is an 'Arab' Nation not intrinsically racist?

I'm answering this to kind of make a point. I don't know anything about Israel, so therefore I don't talk about it. Hope others that are outside the US could not talk about the US when they don't live in, or understand it.

Understood, but you don't have to live in a place to research it, talk to people who have, learn about the history, and form an intelligent opinion. This matters because much you US policy affects Israel and the surrounding arab nations.

I know rather a lot about the history of the US and some of the issues surrounding. Even though I am not American and have not lived in the US. Thus I can talk about certain issues in an informed way. Does this make sense?

@MarsSword: I would say the majority that have an opinion on something have no good valid reasons. They saw something in an article somewhere with no credibility and often believe it and start spouting off.

@Kinevil: And I would agree. But I also think that many many people have formulated a fairly well educated opinion from many articles and much comparison of data and discussion. Many of us would like to learn more by talking about it and comparing opinions and sources. I would see most of my reasons as good and valid and thus am willing to debate them to see if they actually are valid. If I am proven wrong I will evolve my opinion and or search for more facts.
