Do you support Israel?

I know this is a heated topic for many. I have just been watching some history videos about the creation of Israel and the current issues.

Was Palestine ever a real Arab Nation? Is an 'Arab' Nation not intrinsically racist?

I don't think it's right to take over another's land just because you can .... I'm split down the middle about this ... I feel for Palestine because they've been treated unfairly but at the same time Israel should have the right to exist ....
Palestine? Do you think Palestine is a nation?

@MarsSword: it doesn't matter what I think about it ...I think religion causes more harm than good in this world ...I think I'm a bit of an anti Zionist for this reason ... both should have the right to exist ,but with respect for one another but that will never happen because people are evil ,especially when it comes to my invisible man is better than your invisible man ....
@Chernobylplayground: Do you really think this discussion is about religion? Do you think all religions are equal? Do you realize that Hamas is much more so a religious entity than any part of Israeli government?

The issue is about land as much as it is about religion. And when it does come to be about religion one side is religiously tolerant and one sides is militantly intolerant.

@MarsSword: I understand your point ... religious ideology is what had a hand in creating these groups ....
@Chernobylplayground: Yes, had a hand in creating the groups. However, as I learn more about the history and the creation of the state in question I see that it is more so driven by land. The Israelis of all faiths just want a safe place to live, they resort to violence as a means to protect themselves. If they wanted to they have the military might to control the whole region. But they choose not to.

Thus the religious ideology is mostly a driving factor only from the other side. A side that does not allow the practice of freedom of religion.

@MarsSword: ok
@Chernobylplayground: Thank you for your input in this discussion. It is appreciated. I hope I did not offend you. I am just stating the facts as I know them to further conversation.

@MarsSword: no problem , not at all offended...
And Israel has been upheld in treatment. You ever heard of the Holocaust.... But you are correct Palestine, they have been treated unfairly?
